CONTINUED FUNDING

In order for the Nikumbuke Soccer League to continue to grow and support the Nikumbuke World Cup and other health efforts, we must establish a steady flow of donations and funding support. Our goal is to make the Soccer League well-known via social media outlets and elite athletes. We are currently working to gain support from professional athletes. We will also plan fundraisers throughout the year to aid in this. Please consider donating on our "Donate Now" page!

ORGANIZE NIKUMBUKE CUP

While we are raising money to expand the league, we are also planning the 2nd annual Nikumbuke World Cup. We expect this to take place in May/June 2016. Our goal is to include all teams of the expansion (a total of 7-10 teams). The Nikumbuke World Cup will be a tournament in which teams will be divided into two groups, play a round robin, and then advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.

ADD MORE TEAMS

After the first game of the Nikumbuke Women's Soccer League took place on June 14, 2014, there has been eager requests from a number of villages that N-HbM works with for teams to be added. We currently have 7 teams participating and are aiming to incorporate teams for young girls. We are currently working to raise money to support the expansion of the league.Iit will cost $800-$1000 per team.

SPONSOR A PLAYER FOR SOCCER AND/OR EDUCATION

You can donate money to sponsor a specific woman or girl. This sponsorship can provide soccer gear as well as sponsorship for an education. Visit our "Donate Now" page for more details on donation amounts!

PROVIDE CLEAN WATER

Donate now to provide clean water to women, girls, and entire villages! You can donate a one-time amount to provide one water tank to a woman and her family or to a village center. The need for clean water continues to be a consistent problem in Africa and southeastern Kenya. Clean water can prevent many water-borne diseases and deaths. By providing a water tank, you can also save many women 8-12 hours each day that they currently spend walking to find water for their families. Visit the "Donate Now" page!
